So, if you are a pet mommy or daddy, you will need need to have a vacuum cleaner to stay on top of pet hair. To save you time, we’ve compiled a list of some of the best vacuum cleaners available, so that you don’t have to keep looking for them anymore.
Challenges of Pet Hair on Hard Floors
Pet hair can be an issue when cleaning hard floors. A regular vacuum cleaner won’t be able to pick up all the hair and dirt. In fact, there is no guarantee that even this vacuum cleaner would remove all the dirt. But then again, most pet owners also use a broom to sweep their floor regularly. This helps to get rid of any leftover particles from the previous cleaning session.
But challenges aside, pet hair still needs to be cleaned as soon as possible. The longer it stays on the floor, the more difficult it becomes to remove.
Moreover, hard floors such as ceramic tiles, marble, and wood floor require special care. They are prone to scratches and stains. Regular vacuuming may leave marks behind. In addition, the following challenges of pet hair on hard floors apply:
- Pet hair tends to accumulate at the corners of the room.
- Pet hair clings to furniture legs.
- Pet hair gets stuck between the cracks of the flooring.
- Pet hair sticks to the edges of the rug.
- Pets tend to shed fur everywhere, making it harder to clean.
- You might end up spending too much time trying to clean the area.
So that’s why it’s important to invest in a good quality vacuum cleaner that can handle tough surfaces like hard floors
Challenges of Pet Hair on Carpeting
The most difficult challenge that all pet owners face is the pile of pet hair throughout the house, and when those pet hairs make their home on your carpet and stick to it like gum, this is when things start to get dirty.
Pet hair removal is a time-consuming task, but a vacuum cleaner will not only assist you but will also remove all of your pet’s hair from your carpet and furniture, which will save you time and effort.
As you probably already know, vacuuming isn’t enough to remove pet hair. Pet hair strands have the ability to become permanently embedded in carpet and fabric materials.
There is no way to permanently remove pet hair without costly equipment, right?
But wait!

Why Don’t We Recommend Robotic Vacuums?
Compared to robot vacuum cleaners, traditional vacuum cleaners are significantly more powerful. Our tests revealed that even the most powerful vacuum cleaners we tested were incapable of picking up even the tiniest particles of dust and hair from your rugs, let alone visible debris. Because robot vacuum cleaners do not perform as well as conventional vacuum cleaners, you will not be able to altogether remove all of the dirt and debris from your home with one.
It’s not that you are banned by law from using robotic vacuums for your shedding furry pet, but the fact is that they are not nearly as effective as a traditional vacuum cleaner when compared to it!
They appear to be a helping hand, but not everything is as it appears, and the same goes for robotic vacuums.
Despite their appearance, robotic vacuum cleaners aren’t always as helpful as they appear to be, and their bumpy nature puts your furniture at risk, so you should always keep an eye out if you’re using one.
This is why we do not recommend robotic vacuums for you: these are some of the reasons.
- They get stuck on a lot of things, which is aggravating.
- The cost of purchasing a robot vacuum cleaner can be prohibitively expensive.
- They are less dependable and more challenging to repair than other vehicles.
